Author: Neil Farrell Date: Tuesday, 16th Jan 2007A combination of youth and experience saw off the challenge of the wee teamies from Kirkoddie and progress to the final of the Fife Cup. Goals from Iain Williamson and Jim McIntyre saw the Pars draw level and take the lead before the game finished 2-2. Owen Morrison was the only Pars player to miss from the spot as the Pars won 5-4 on penalties.
Striker Jim McIntyre finally made his Pars debut and showed leadership from the front. Considering he has been out for the whole of the season thus far he did look not out of place with his touch and head flicks. He joined several first team players including Dorus de Vries, Calum Woods, Owen Morrison, Jamie McCunnie and Va Va Voom Frederic Daquin.
