The Pars won a vital point in this 0-0 draw to edge just a little closer to St Mirren but they have now gone 8 SPL matches without scoring and this afternoon they only had one shot on target which is simply not good enough.

Team news ahead of todays game at Tannadice:
Stephen Glass is set to make his Pars debut against Dundee Utd. Mark Burchill (groin) and Stephen Simmons (thigh) return from injury.
The referee today is Dougie McDonald who was in charge of the Pars 2-1 defeat at Fir Park against Motherwell earlier in the season and the fourth official is a certain Willian Collum!
Teamsheets will be with us at about 2.45pm and we`ll get the teams up as soon as possible.

Born: Linoland (breaks my heart). She has thumbs though.
Weight: 8lb
Length: 54cm
Cara has granted her Fathers wishes and was not born before the Falkirk game.
It was a textbook delivery and she was born at three minutes to eight on Sunday morning. The Father was present trying to read up on the football papers during labour and trying to spot familiar faces of the Pars crowd in the free Pannini album which was given with the previous days Sun newspaper.

With Dunfermline winning 3-2 over Rangers two weeks ago, including that remarkable 3-0 lead after just 46 minutes, The Pars take on the Glasgow side for the fourth time at East End Park this season.

A combination of youth and experience saw off the challenge of the wee teamies from Kirkoddie and progress to the final of the Fife Cup. Goals from Iain Williamson and Jim McIntyre saw the Pars draw level and take the lead before the game finished 2-2. Owen Morrison was the only Pars player to miss from the spot as the Pars won 5-4 on penalties.
