Last Cup Final chance for ticketsAuthor: Brian Duncan Date: Thursday, 9th Mar 2006
Pars fans last chance to buy CIS Insurance Cup Final tickets with the first batch of 12,000 almost sold.
The rush for CIS Cup Final Tickets are beginning to slow down with only 500 or so tickets left of the original batch of 12,000.
If you do intend to purchase a ticket then get in touch with the ticket office urgently, certainly do so today or by tomorrow.
The subsequent batch of 5,500 will likely have to be sold by Celtic as we would rather see the tickets getting sold and getting some money in rather than having the embarassment of having tickets left over.
There was a bit of a fury initially when the Pars were only allocated 12,000 tickets. The club have done everything in their power to try and sell more than this allocation as they would sincerley like more fans to go to the Cup Final. However, should the tickets get sold to Celtic then Dunfermline will get a substantial slice of the money, far better that than the tickets remain unsold.
It is possible, though unlikely, that Dunfermline will be able to get an additional number of tickets from the 5,500 due to segregation policy and policing.
So if you are still thinking about tickets get them now.
NOTE: update 10th March.
DAFC have been allocated a further block of 700 West Stand tickets at £20 in Sections B2 and B3 and we will be taking orders for these from Saturday.
In addition to this we have been allocated a small additional number of tickets in the Family Section and these should be available from Monday on a first come first served basis.
We would remind fans that on Saturday Ticket Collections (Non-hospitality) will be in Zest from 10.00 to 2.30
Ticket Office is open for Sales/Matchday from 10.00 to 3.00
