Greenock Morton Post Match Interviews

Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre, James Grady and Steven Bell after the game against Greenock Morton at East End Park.

Jim McIntyre
Jim is delighted to win the last home game and to get a few goals makes it even sweeter. There has been a great number of goals scored from midfield this season and with Steven Bell getting a hattrick he moves onto eleven for the season. With there being no fight for honours this season Jim is still adamant that his team was always going to battle for every last remaining point and he hopes that continues next week at Airdrie. The manager doesn`t think either penalty decision was correct.

James Grady
James admits that his side were simply not good enough. He was hoping that with Dunfermline`s season being all but over that his players would be the hungrier for the win but it wasn`t to be the case. Although the loss is hard to take the manager knows that the clubs safety is in their own hands and he takes that as a huge bonus going into their next game at Ross County.

Steven Bell
Bell is very pleased to score the first professional hattrick of his career. He was only able to do so as penalty taker Willie Gibson had been substituted and this gifted the opportunity for Bell to grab his third of the match. His target for the season was double figures and on the penultimate game of the season his tally stands at eleven.
